Rhythmic Wavelengths LLC specializes in professional percussion design and consultation, and was founded by Riley Warren - a Dallas-based percussion educator, arranger, consultant, clinician, and podcaster. Riley currently serves as the Director of Percussion at Forney High School. The Forney High School Drumline has achieved high accolades at numerous local and statewide marching competitions, most recently earning the title of 2025 NTCA Scholastic Open Class Champion. Additionally, the Forney HS Percussion Ensemble performed at the 2022 Percussive Arts Society International Convention, as well as the 2023 Midwest International Band & Orchestra Clinic. As a clinician, Riley has presented at Southern Methodist University, East Texas A&M University, Fort Worth ISD, and Irving ISD. He is a frequently sought after consultant for many high school percussion programs across Texas. Riley spent six summers performing in Drum Corps International as a member of the Crossmen (2010-2013) as well as the Cadets (2014-2015), serving as section leader for both organizations. He holds a Bachelor Of Music Education degree and Performance Certificate from The University of Texas at Austin and a Master of Music Education degree from Southern Methodist University. Riley is a proud educational artist for Zildjian and Vic Firth, a provisional member of the Texas Music Adjudicators Association, and a member of the Education Committee for the Percussive Arts Society. He was recently selected as a Class of 2025 Yamaha “40 Under 40” Music Educator, and frequently contributes articles to the Yamaha Educator’s Suite. He resides in Dallas, Texas with his fiancé Morgan and their furry friends: Sheila & Chloe.
